Craft Your Passion #170: Patchwork Background

For Paper Playtime #14: Tags click here!

Happy Monday.  Today at Craft Your Passion we are sponsored by The Sugar Kissed Cottage.

Our theme today is Patchwork Background.  It could be an already patchwork patterned paper, paper pieced background using a die cut, punched shapes or use the Bargello technique.
For my image I chose to use Picking Flowers by The Sugar Kissed Cottage.

My inspiration for the background came from a Mae Collins design.  Her design can be found here.  I put my own twist on it though.
I added some faux stitching with my white Gelly Roll pen and added some purple Baker's Twine.

Be sure to head over to Craft Your Passion to see what the other Design Team sisters have created and also to check out our Sponsor, The Sugar Kissed Cottage to see some really sweet images.

  1. Great selection of patterned paper for your patches. They make a beautiful "quilt". The baker's twine is a great detail and really draws the eye to this sweet image. Cute!

  2. Hi Anita,
Lovely way of making a patschwork background. I think the colours are great.
